This week in our "Did You Know…?" section, we’re pleased to present four different perspectives on the history of comic character collecting from the early days of Scoop, back in 2003. They were written by John K. Snyder, Jr. with Jaime Bramble, Richard D. Olson, Ph.D., Dr. Arnold T. Blumberg, and Russ Cochran.

Other than tweaking their introductions, these articles are basically as the appeared at the time, and they played a major role in the foundation of what evolved into Geppi’s Entertainment Museum.
