“The group of over 100 high grade Silver Age Marvels and DCs contains some choice Bronze Age books as well and comes from an impressive collection out of Lynbrook, New York. The DCs (from the mid to late 1960s and early ‘70s) are just incredible and almost every issue is a CGC certified 9.4 and higher,” he said.

Additional consignments are continuing to arrive, and Schmell said that the auction will offer bidders its usual choice of a few hundred high grade, CGC-certified Marvel and DC issues from the Silver Age and Bronze Age, as well as selections from other genres and publishers.

“There is no buyer’s premium on any of the lots in the auction and most of the lots will have no reserve. Every book is CGC-graded and the minimum bid is only $100. You can view over 200 high grade books right now at www.PedigreeComics.com under the Grand Auctions banner. This is Pedigree’s first auction of 2013 and is shaping up to be a can’t-miss online event,” he said.
