ComicConnect, Metropolis Head to Baltimore
ComicConnect will make its inaugural appearance at the Baltimore ComicCon, September 7-8, 2013 at the Baltimore Convention Center. They will be teamed up with sister company Metropolis Collectibles at booths #903 and 904.
“I’m currently accepting consignments for our next event auction and offering cash advances on the spot,” said Rob Reynolds, Director of Consignments. “I have $5 million available, drop off your books and original art and get a chunk of cash!”
“We’ve been hearing good things for years about the Baltimore Comic-Con, and we just had to see for ourselves what all the commotion was about,” said Metropolis Sales Director Frank Cwiklik, in the midst of preparing for Metro’s debut into the popular Baltimore convention. “We’re cautious about adding cons to our already hectic schedule, but this seemed like a can’t-miss proposition. We’re really excited for this first visit, and are looking forward to seeing clients who can’t make the bigger San Diego, Chicago, and NYC shows.”
Metropolis will have a sampling of their inventory of over 150,000 vintage comics and original art. “If there are certain comic books you’d like to buy at the show, contact us right away at (212) 260-4147, extension 10, or email your requests to orders@metropoliscomics.com,” Cwiklik explained. “See you there!”
