We endeavor to make sure that Hake’s Americana & Collectibles’ eBay listings always have interesting items up for bid, and this week that’s definitely the case.

For our first spotlight item, we’ve listed a three-inch tall Goebel ceramic Pluto figurine.  Dating back to the 1940s this figure is in excellent condition.  Colored a bright orange, this figurine was made in Germany and is the perfect small display piece for a Disney lover, or a fan of Pluto. 

Remember the Syroco-esque figurines of the 1940s?  Dark Horse Deluxe has been releasing Syroco-inspired figurines since 2000.  This limited edition Uncle Scrooge was released in 2010 and is one of a run of 950 pieces.  In its original color illustrated tin, the figure comes with a one inch pin back and a small informational booklet about the Uncle Scrooge and his creator Carl Barks. There’s also another, different Uncle Scrooge figure among the other offerings as well.

If Carl Barks and the people of Duckburg aren’t characters you’re interested in, the people at Dark Horse Deluxe have worked on all different kinds of characters.  If you’re a fan of Shultz and the Peanuts gang, then you will certainly enjoy this Syroco-like artist proof figurine of Sally.  Made in 2006 the figurine was limited to a run of only 35 this artist proof still comes with its one-inch pin back and booklet.
