ComicLink Heads to Baltimore
ComicLink will be set up in booth #1104-1204 at the Baltimore Comic-Con on Saturday, September 7 and Sunday, September 8, 2013, accepting consignments for the November Featured Auction, September Focused Auction and other upcoming ComicLink auctions.
“If you are interested in reaching some of the most aggressive comic book and original art bidders in the world, while at the same time having the opportunity to raise cash quickly, stop by booth #1104-1204. In addition to getting in material for our next Featured Auction in November, we are still accepting consignments and dishing out generous cash advances for our September Focused Auction. This auction starts September 12, which will offer sellers very quick turn-around on their consignments. Sean Goodrich I will be present accepting consignments and dishing out generous cash advances for quality vintage comic book and original comic art material,” said ComicLink Consignment Director Douglas Gillock.
“Similar to the May and August Featured Auctions in which many new record results were achieved, the ComicLink November Featured Auction will highlight valuable, vintage comic books and original comic art, and it will be one to remember. Every lot in the Featured Auction is selected by ComicLink’s expert staff for quality and collector appeal, which means it is the perfect showcase for a seller’s best material,” he said.
“If you are attending the Baltimore show, don’t sell the good stuff without stopping by the booth first! It is very likely that you can do better and sell more quickly by working with us. In addition to accepting consignments for upcoming ComicLink auctions, we are also accepting consignments for the comic exchange sections, and purchasing vintage comics and original art outright. Make sure to get our offer before you sell — you’ll be glad you did,” he said.
If you can’t make it to the show, to reserve auction placement, email buysell@comiclink.com your prospective auction list, or call (617) 517-0062, option 1, to speak with Gillock, Goodrich, Jason Crosby, Jon Signorelli, Josh Nathanson or other members of the ComicLink team.
The Baltimore Comic-Con is held at the Baltimore Convention Center, which is located close to the Inner Harbor and immediately accross the street from the historic Camden Yards sports complex, including Oriole Park and Geppi’s Entertainment Museum.
