Dynamite Entertainment; $3.99

Cold War tensions, espionage, action and adventure fill the pages of the first new Captain Action story from Dynamite Entertainment. And it’s not just about Captain Action either, as we see Operator 5 and glimpses and hints of many other characters. Unlike a large number of crossovers or events these days, this one appears to have a lot going for it, beginning with a strong story from Chris Roberson and compelling art from Jonathan Lau.

There are about 453 variant covers for this one, but don’t let that get in the way of a truly enjoyable read that left us wanting more, just as a great comic should.
