Results: Comics Strong at ComicLink in August

The ComicLink Featured Auction, which closed at the end of August 2013, set many realized price records for valuable comic books and original artwork, the company has announced.

“Outstanding price results were realized across comic book genres,” said ComicLink President Josh Nathanson, who provided Scoop with this look at the comic book segment of the auction.

“Some top highlights include Superman #1 CGC 2.0 ($62,111), Amazing Fantasy #15 CGC 7.0 $44,555, Sensation Comics #1 CGC 8.0 $28,500, New Mutants #98 CGC 10.0 $15,449, Iron Man #55 CGC 9.8 (double cover) $13,025, Suspense Comics #3 CGC 3.0 $9,300, Showcase #4 CGC 5.5 $9,644, Marvel Mystery #19 CGC 9.2 $7,069, and Pep Comics #36 CGC 2.5 $5,600.”
