Titan Merchandise and Captain Action Enterprises have announced the launch of Captain Action Cat merchandise, including T-shirts, mugs, I.D. holders and more, beginning in the third quarter of 2014.

Captain Action Cat, currently appearing in a comic series from Dynamite Entertainment by the award-winning team of Art Baltazar, Franco and Chris (Zod) Smits, is an anthropomorphic spin-off of the classic Captain Action character.

The Captain Action Cat series features this all-ages take on the hero. Entitled “The Timestream Cat-astrophe,” it spans the Modern Age, the Silver Age, the Golden Age and even the “Aw Yeah!” Age. The story features Lady Action, creator-owned characters and Dark Horse heroes X, Ghost, Sky-Man, The Occultist and Captain Midnight.

Captain Action is an action figure created in 1966 by Stan Weston for Ideal Toys and sold internationally. The line has experienced a strong resurgence, complete with all-new toys, merchandise, books and comic series.
