It certainly caused a sensation when Darren Adams of Pristine Comics announced in his ad in The Overstreet Comic Book Price Guide #44 that he would sell a CGC-certified 9.0 copy of Action Comics #1, the first appearance of Superman, on eBay from August 14-24, 2014.

Now the auction is live and eBay has posted a special page so that bidders may be “pre-qualified.”

The auction of Action Comics #1 will begin on August 14 and run for ten days.
