October 7: Overstreet Trivia at St. Mark’s Comics

What issue featured the first appearance of Cable? How about Batgirl? When was X-O Manowar first published?

For fans who know their comic history and are in New York City on October 7, 2014, check out St. Mark’s Comics for the Overstreet Trivia Night as part of their New York Super Week events.

It’s all part of their build-up to the New York Comic Con, on October 9-12, 2014 with all proceeds from this event going to the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund, a non-profit organization established to help protect the First Amendment rights of comic creators, publishers, and retailers.

Taking place at St. Mark’s Comics’ Manhattan location at 11 St. Mark’s Place, New York, NY 10003, this intense trivia challenge is being sponsored by Gemstone Publishing and features a wide variety of prizes including hardcover editions of The Overstreet Comic Book Price Guide #44, including the sold-out Vampirella edition by J. Scott Campbell and the Batman 75th anniversary edition by J.G. Jones. The store will also be hosting a wide variety of other events, including signings, game nights, movie nights, and more.
