New York Comic Con is packed with so many exciting events that they can’t all be contained in the Jacob Javits Center. Hero Initiative and Super Week are hosting events with celebrities all over the city.

First up is “Ask Me Another” the new live show from NPR and WNYC combining brainteasers, bar trivia, comedy, and music which will feature bestselling author Neil Gaiman. The event will be held Friday, October 10 at 7 PM at the Kaufman Concert Hall at Lexington Avenue at 92nd Street. Also being held on Friday, October 10 is An Evening with the cast of Star Trek: The Next Generation moderated by none other than William Shatner. The live conversation with the crew of Star Trek: TNG will be held at 7:30 to 9:30 PM in the Hammerstein Ballroom, 311 West 34th Street.

Get ready for tons of pop culture and comics references Saturday, October 11 at the “Fat Man on Manhattan: an Evening with Kevin Smith with Special Guest Jason Mewes” event. Get up close and personal with the writer, director, comedian, and podcaster as well as his partner in crime at 7:30 to 9 PM in the Hammerstein Ballroom at 311 West 34th Street. Wax on, wax off Saturday, October 11 at the 30th Anniversary Cast Conversation and Screening of The Karate Kid. Film stars Ralph Macchio, William Zabka, and Martin Kove who played Daniel, Johnny, and Sensei Jon Kreese, respectively, will be celebrating the underdog ‘80s story by talking about their experiences during filming and reactions after production, and screening the movie. This event will take place from 9:30 PM to 12 AM at the Kaufmann Concert Hall at 92nd Street.
