November 21-23: Awesome Con Milwaukee
Comics fans in Milwaukee will be giving thanks a week early at Awesome Con on November 21-23, 2014. The guest list features Casper Van Dien and Dina Meyer of Starship Troopers, David Morrissey (the dreaded Governor on The Walking Dead), David Yost (Mighty Morphin Power Rangers), Ernie Hudson (Ghostbusters), Kelly Hu (X-Men 2). Joss Whedon alums J. August Richards (Angel, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.), Nicholas Brendon (Buffy the Vampire Slayer), and Tahmoh Penikett (Dollhouse) will be there.
Comic book creators, writers, and artists include Ben Templesmith (30 Days of Night), Cory Hamscher (The Incredible Hulk, Avengers Academy), Douglas Paskiewicz (Arsenic Lullaby), Jeremy Whitley (Princeless), Bryan Tillman (owner and CEO of Kaiser Studio Productions).
The show runs Friday 12-8 PM, Saturday 10 AM to 7 PM, and Sunday 10 AM to 5 PM at the Wisconsin Center in Milwaukee, WI. The Geekend 3-day pass starts at $50 and one day passes begin at $25.
