There were many memorable dances in the 1990s: the Macarena, the Tootsee Roll, The Train, and any of the choreography featured in Spice Girls videos. But if there’s one move that’s thrived to this day, it’s The Carlton and Alfonso Ribeiro brought it back in style on Dancing With The Stars Monday, October 6, 2014.

Ribeiro is best known for playing Carlton Banks on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, though he also appeared on Silver Spoons, In The House and voiced characters in the 1994 Spider-Man cartoon and 1997’s Extreme Ghostbusters series. But it’s Carlton, and the dorky, high energy dance to “It’s Not Unusual,” that have lived on.

The theme of this week’s episode of Dancing With The Stars was “Most Memorable Year.” Ribeiro’s dance featured an intro where he described how acting on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air has become that for him, even though it may have “stunted” his acting career.

Ribeiro’s dance featured him and his partner, Witney Carson, on a sitcom-esque set as Tom Jones’ song kicks off. It’s not long before he breaks into his famous routine, and the crowd went nuts. It paid off for them in the end, as they received a perfect 40/40 score for their jazz routine.
