Valiant’s “One Dollar Debut” Titles Get Makeovers
On October 15, some of Valiant Entertainment’s biggest titles will be getting the “One Dollar Debut” treatment. Archer and Armstrong, Harbinger, Quantum and Woody, Rai, Unity, and X-O Manowar will all receive reprints of their #1 issues, all with new covers featuring quotes from reviews on the comics themselves.
This “One Dollar Debut” lineup makes for a perfect opportunity for newcomers to Valiant to get acclimated before Jeff Lemire, Matt Kindt, and Paolo Rivera turn it on its head with their release of The Valiant, which releases in December 2014.
Also releasing is the Valiant Universe 2014 Handbook, which features highly detailed entries on everything in the Valiant Universe, plus an artwork gallery from Valiant artists such as Doug Braithwaite, Clayton Crain, Clayton Henry, Brian Hitch, Esad Ribic, and more.
Valiant Next will be debuting six new series in 2015: The Valiant, Ivar Timewalker, Divinity, Imperium, Ninjak, and Bloodshot Reborn, making now a good time to revisit the foundation of Valiant’s current ongoing series.
