Three surprising results from last Tuesday, October 14 auction include Saint Joan one-sheet with Saul Bass art sold for $425, a Singapore one-sheet with a sexy image of Ava Gardner closed at $383, and a Bowery Boys Meet the Monsters one-sheet for the campy horror film reached $205.
eMoviePoster.com would like Scoop readers to know that they only take consignments and do not purchase items because that is a conflict of interest, therefore all of the 120,000 items they auction each year come to them from 1,563 collectors and dealers all over the world. Consigning to their 15th Annual Halloween Auction (which begins October 26) is now closed, but now is the time to consign to the December Major Auctions (the deadline is very soon, as they have to be in the mail to us by November 1). Go to their Consign Page to learn about consigning to us for our regular weekly auctions or for our next major auctions.
