February 13-15: Farpoint
Farpoint, the annual event that gathers fans of superheroes, sci-fi, fantasy, and horror will be held February 13-15, 2015 at the North Baltimore Plaza Hotel, 2004 Greenspring Drive, Timonium, MD 21093.
Celebrity guests include Colin Ferguson (Jack Carter of Eureka, William of Haven, Tripp of The Vampire Diaries), Tim Russ (Tuvok of Star Trek: Voyager and Star Trek Renegades), and Timothy Zahn (Hugo Award winning author for Star Wars expanded universe, Blackcollar Trilogy).
Authors appearing at Farpoint are Aaron Rosenberg, Bob Greenberger, Danielle Ackley-McPhail, Don Sakers, Donna Galanti, Heather E. Hutsell, Janine K. Spendlove, Joseph Berenato, and many others. Science guests include Barbara Thompson, Dr. C. Alex Young, Dr. Caroline Cox, Dr. Daryl Frazetti, Dr. Inge Heyer, Mary Louise Davie, and others.
Among the many events there will be a free Tim Russ concert, a cocktail party, gaming all weekend, art show and auction, activities for kids, live performances, masquerade, charity auction, game shows, workshops, and dealers room.
