This is the last weekend to bid in the ComicLink October Focused Auction, with an offering of over 2,500 Golden Age, Silver Age, and Bronze-Modern comic book lots, most of them graded by CGC. Auction lots will start closing on Friday evening starting at 8 PM EDT.

All of the auction lots within this exciting auction start at $1, and will sell to the highest bidder. There will be numerous Silver Marvel Age keys like Amazing Fantasy #15 (first Spider-Man) and X-Men #1 along with hot DC keys such as Brave and the Bold #28 (first JLA) and Green Lantern #1. There is high-grade Silver Age galore within this auction, including highlights such as Amazing Spider-Man #8 CGC 9.6, Iron Man #55 CGC 9.6, Captain America #100 CGC 9.6, and many Near Mint Marvel and DC issues. The Bronze and Copper Ages are strongly represented with Giant-Size X-Men #1 CGC 9.8, Green Lantern #76 CGC 9.4 (first Neal Adams), The Incredible Hulk #181 CGC 9.4 Stan Lee Signature Series (first Wolverine), Marvel Preview #2 CGC 9.8 (first Star-Lord), Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #1 CGC 9.8.

The Golden Age segment of this auction is very exciting. There are many Golden Age DC examples from Superman, Action Comics, Batman and Detective Comics, and Flash Comics runs. There is a plethora of highly demanded Timely and Atlas in the auction from such runs as Marvel Mystery, Human Torch, and Sub-Mariner. Interesting issues from other publishers are also available, from genres such as World War II (e.g. Black Terror), good girl (e.g. All Top), sci-fi (e.g. Captain Science), horror (e.g. Dark Mysteries), Archie, and more. Many of these items come from the personal collection of Jamie Graham, founder and owner of Graham Crackers Comics, one of the nation’s largest comic book retailers. Assembled over decades, the collection includes examples from many of the most significant and desirable runs of the Golden Age, as well as select material from the Silver Age and beyond. Graham acquired examples not just for their individual quality, but also as a completist, building impressive runs of major superhero titles. Another collecting focus was on stand-out covers and esoteric genre titles from the 1940s and 1950s. ComicLink is thrilled to have been selected as the auction house of Jamie Graham’s collection, and items from the collection will be offered throughout this and other upcoming auctions.

ComicLink is now accepting consignments for the Fall Featured Auction which will commence on November 19, 2014 and they are even starting to accept consignments for auctions starting next year. The upcoming Featured Auction will include some of the very best comic book and original art material that this hobby has to offer.
