ComicLink is currently accepting consignments for the firm’s Winter Featured Auction, which will commence on February 11, 2015.

“If you are interested in participating in this auction as a seller, we encourage you to contact ComicLink as soon as possible,” Douglas Gillock, ComicLink’s Consignment Director said. “Now is the time to both reserve your auction slots and capitalize on auction preview exposure. And if you are a collector, we encourage you to check out the preview highlighting early consignments – even though there is over a month until the auction launch, there is some really exciting stuff in there already!”

Some Winter Featured auction comic book highlights include Superman #1 CGC 2.0 (with the appearance of a higher grade), Fantastic Four #5 CGC 9.6 (first Dr. Doom, rare in grade), Big All-American #1 CGC 9.4 (Carson City, Single Highest), Young Allies #1 CGC 9.0, Iron Fist #14 CGC 9.6 Price Variant (single highest, first Sabretooth), Hero For Hire #1 CGC 9.8, Incredible Hulk #181 CGC 9.6, a strong group of Avengers issues including Avengers #1 CGC 8.0, #3 CGC 9.4, and #4 CGC 9.4 (among many others). ComicLink has All Star Comics #33 CGC 9.4, Batman #5 CGC 7.5, Detective Comics #29 CGC 2.5 (third Batman), Detective Comics #78 CGC 9.4 (single highest), a complete Gaines File Copy run of Crypt of Terror/Tales From the Crypt including Tales From the Crypt #20 CGC 9.6, Human Torch #12 CGC 8.0 (classic Schomburg WWII cover), a near complete Gaines File Copy War Against Crime/Vault of Horror run, a large run of tough Atlas Mystery Tales issues including #40 CGC 6.0 (issue used in Lost), Captain America #117 CGC 9.8 (highest, first Falcon), Catman Comics #9 CGC 9.6 Mile High (single highest), and many more.

They already know the Winter Featured Auction is going to be a gangbuster Original Art auction, most likely their best yet. Some items already consigned are the classic covers to Amazing Spider-Man #238 (first Hobgoblin cover), Amazing Spider-Man #317 (one of only two McFarlane Venom covers), the second page to Avengers #1 by Jack Kirby, John Buscema’s cover to Avengers #74 (featuring Vision, Black Panther, Henry Pym Giant-Man, and Yellowjacket) as well as Buscema’s iconic cover art for Conan Movie Special #1. ComicLink is offering Jim Lee’s ‘Hush’ cover to Batman #611 with Catwoman as well as his Wizard #162 cover featuring a huge Batman figure in action, a dramatic early Miracleman cover used for both the UK’s Warrior Comics #7 (the second cover to originally feature the character) and the popular, US published Miracleman 3-D #1. In addition to these pieces other items such as Neal Adams finished pencil House of Mystery #177 cover art, two consecutive Bernie Wrightson pages from the very first Swamp Thing story from House of Secrets #92, Steve Ditko’s Tales to Astonish #25 Pre-Hero title splash, and a top quality Jim Starlin page from Warlock #15 with Warlock, Thanos, and Gamora have recently been added.

To reserve upcoming auction placement (upfront cash advances are available), simply email buysell@comiclink.com with your prospective sale list or call (617) 517-0062 (option 1) to speak with Josh Nathanson, Douglas Gillock, Jason Crosby, Sean Goodrich, or Jon Signorelli. For sellers who do not prefer auctions, they are also always accepting new sellers for the ComicLink exchange marketplaces, brokering private placement deals, and buying outright.
