Pedigree Comics just received a consignment of a fabulous group of CGC certified early Iron Man comics for their upcoming Grand Auction, Pedigree President and CEO Doug Schmell said. The auction is scheduled to begin in just over two weeks, on the night of Sunday, November 8, 2015 and last for ten days until the night of Wednesday, November 18 as a separate event on www.PedigreeComics.com. There is no buyer’s premium on any of the lots in the auction and almost every item will have no reserve. Every book is CGC or CBCS graded and the minimum bid is only $100 for this Grand Auction. The new Iron Man consignment comes out of England and features 12 brand new books, all in 9.8 and 9.6 (save for one in 9.4), including a beautiful early X-Men in 9.6. A few of the books are CGC Signature Series examples signed by Stan Lee or Gene Colan and a bunch are the highest graded copy to date. Highlights are Iron Man #1 9.8 (CGC Signature Series), #2 9.8 (CGC Signature Series), #3 9.6, #5 9.6, #6 9.6, #10 9.6 (CGC Signature Series), #13 9.8, #17 9.6, #19 9.8, #23 9.8, and #23 9.4 (CGC Signature Series), and X-Men 8 9.6.
