The first Beatles film is still considered to be the group’s best, more than 50 years after it first released in 1964. A Hard Day’s Night was not only a solid album, but a smash hit film too – when it released it made nearly $13 million against a budget of about 190,000 British pounds.

A Hard Day’s Night helped to influence the concept of the music videos that would follow for decades to come. While most of the music featured in the film actually featured the Fab Four performing it, the end credits instead featured the photographs from the original album cover.

A signed copy of the album is currently available at Hake’s Americana, and is available for bidding until November 12, 2015. The signed side is actually the back cover of the album; the front side with the photographs was glossy and ended up being difficult to autograph. However, for the sake of display, two separate LPs are included to showcase the iconic front cover of A Hard Day’s Night in addition to the signatures.
