October 30-November 1: Anime USA
Anime USA will be returning to the Washington Marriott Wardman Park Hotel in Washington, DC on Halloween weekend for three days jam-packed with anime screenings, panels, workshops, and much more. Running from October 30 through November 1,2015, Anime USA is set to bring in several thousand fans and cosplayers for the weekend’s events.
Guests this year include voice actors Beau Billingslea (Cowboy Bebop), Colleen Clinkenbeard (One Piece), Melissa Fahn (Digimon Tamers), Wendee Lee (The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya), Mary Elizabeth McGlynn (Ghost in the Shell), Steve Blum (Naruto), and Brandon Potter (Dragon Ball Z).
As always, there will be an extensive artist alley, plus an art show, as well as the dealer’s hall. The Host Club and Maid Café also return for another year by popular demand. Big events this year include the return of the Friday night Formal Ball, plus the cosplay masquerade and skit competition.
