December 12-13: Star Wars Days Event
With just a few weeks until The Force Awakens, now is a great time for the Star Wars Days Event. The convention will be held on December 12-13, 2015 at Freedom High School in Woodbridge, VA.
The event will host artists, vendors, crafts, comics, and kids activities focused on the galaxy far, far away. There will be costume contests, Jedi Training Academy, X-Wing miniature gaming, Star Wars cakes contest, Blast A Trooper, photo ops, and plenty more.
A Star Wars auction will offer a chance to own autographs from John Morton (Boba Fett in The Empire Strikes Back) and author Jeffrey Brown, new books from DK Publishing, Lego packs, and various other Star Wars merchandise.
Guest artists are Angela McKendrick (Cuddles with Cats), James Mascia, Laura Ingles, Javier Winnick, Chris Flick (Capes and Babes), FISHNECKTOFU t-shirt designs, and James Rambo (Rambo Inc.).
Freedom High School is located at 15201 Neabsco Mills Road, Woodbridge, VA. The show runs Saturday 10 AM to 7 PM and Sunday 10 AM to 6 PM. Online tickets are only $7 per day or $12 for a two-day pass and at the door they are $10 per person. To learn more about the con, go to starwarsdays.com.
