While Emerald City Comic Con (ECCC) has been officially postponed, Iron Circus is throwing a stay home con, inspired by 2014’s Comfy Con by Randy Milholland and Danielle Corsetto.

On March 13-15, 2020, Iron Circus is planning three days of livestreams on the Pajama Con Twitch channel from 12 PM to 6 PM CT. The livestreams will be like a talk show or live podcast featuring creators who had to cancel their ECCC appearances. Special guests announced thus far are Steve Lieber (Whiteout), Chris Roberson (iZombie), Lin Visel (How Do You Smoke a Weed), Genue Revuelta (The Legend of Bold Riley), C. Spike Trotman (Yes, Roya), and Kate Leth (Spell on Wheels). Iron Circus will be promoting the show through their Twitter account using the #pajamacon2020 hashtag.

Participation will take place in a variety of forms. “Booths” will be a 30-minute interview live with the host (Amanda Lafrenais) via Skype or Discord call-in, wherein the creator can advertise their sale, upcoming/debut work, or whatever they’d like to talk about.

“Artist Alley” will involve five to seven-minute ad breaks wherein Iron Circus run ads for creators who are not being interviewed. Creators provide a copy for them to read and can promote an online store, upcoming release, or whatever they want.

“Panels” will include one to two-hour group livestreams organized by creators. Like a convention, they will be arranged and hosted outside of the main livestreams. Iron Circus will advertise panels in the schedule and announce when they go live. They can run concurrently to the main show, or in after hours.
