New Looney Tunes Shorts Head to HBO Max

WarnerMedia has announced that the Looney Tunes will join the slate of programming on the new HBO Max. The streaming service, which launches in May, will provide 10,000 hours of content, including new Looney Tunes original cartoons.

That’s right, Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Porky Pig, Sylvester and Tweety, Yosemite Sam, Wile E. Coyote and Road Runner, Gossamer, Marvin the Martian, and Elmer Fudd are back in new material. There will be 80 episodes running 11 minutes, that will include vintage storylines adapted for modern audiences.

The show is executive produced by Pete Browngardt and Warner Bros. Animation president Sam Register. The voice cast includes Eric Bauza (Transformers: Robots in Disguise), Jeff Bergman (New Looney Tunes), and Bob Bergen (Space Jam).

HBO Max starts streaming on May 27, 2020 and will cost $14.99 a month.
