Movie props and costumes build the world of a film, making us believe we’re in pirate times or a futuristic game or we’re tiny and everything around us is huge. On the new Disney+ show Prop Culture, movie prop collector Dan Lanigan will dig into the props that created the worlds of popular Disney movies.

On the show, Lanigan interacts with filmmakers, actors, and crew who created and used memorable Disney movie props. As he goes on these trips to explore Disney prop history, Lanigan will find lost items, visit private collections, and help restore pieces in the Walt Disney Archives to their former condition.

Disney released a trailer for the show, introducing Lanigan and the journey he will undertake. He opens the trailer by stating that since he was a kid, he’s been “obsessed with finding out more,” about those props. Some of the movies featured in the show include Pirates of the Caribbean, Mary Poppins, Who Framed Roger Rabbit, Nightmare Before Christmas, Tron, Honey I Shrunk the Kids, and The Chronicles of Narnia.

Prop Culture is now streaming on Disney+.
