BOOM! Studios has provided the details on the next Power Rangers comic series, Mighty Morphin #1. The comic is written by Ryan Parrott (Mighty Morphin Power Rangers/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles), with art by Marco Renna and colors by Walter Baiamonte with assistance by Katia Ranalli. This is the first of two new series with two new teams.

A new Mighty Morphin Power Rangers team has gathered to fight deadly threats attacking Earth – though they don’t know if the new Green Ranger is on their side. The new team is going to face an even deadlier Lord Zedd who is on a new mission. Even if they survive Zedd and other enemies they find a greater threat because of a shocking truth about Zordon’s past.

Mighty Morphin #1 has a cover by InHyuk Lee (Seven Secrets), and variant cover art by Eleonora Carlini (Buffy the Vampire Slayer), Jung-Geun Yoon (Seven Secrets), Goñi Montes (Mighty Morphin Power Rangers), and an “Every Ranger” cover illustration by Dan Mora (Once & Future) that connects with Power Rangers #1, Mighty Morphin #2, and Power Rangers #2.

Mighty Morphin #1 will be in comic stores on November 4, 2020.
