Captain America #1 CGC 8.0 in ComicLink Auction

ComicLink has just added a significant offering to the Winter Featured Auction Preview: Captain America Comics #1 CGC 8.0. This high grade key was consigned as the book celebrates its 80th anniversary this week having first appeared on newsstands on December 20, 1940. This historic comic book introduced Captain America and told his origin story, as well as the first appearance of Cap’s partner, Bucky Barnes, and his number one foe, the Red Skull. Today Captain America is one of the most famous characters on the planet and it all began here.

“This is a gorgeous example of one of the most important comic books ever and comes complete with near newsstand-fresh off-white to white pages,” ComicLink founder and Managing Director, Josh Nathanson said.

This major key joins numerous other highlights within this Featured Auction launching February 11, 2021. ComicLink is also still accepting select consignments and offering upfront cash advances to sellers for items placed in the January Focused Auction starting January 7.
