Marvel is set to honor Len Wein and Dave Cockrum and their work on Giant-Size X-Men #1 (May 1975) in the new book, Giant-Size X-Men: Tribute to Wein & Cockrum Gallery Edition hardcover.

Giant-Size X-Men #1 helped to revitalize the team of mutant heroes, bringing together the original X-Men with a new team. That key issue introduced Storm, Nightcrawler, Colossus, and Thunderbird – all created by Wein and Cockrum.

Marvel enlisted 36 top artists to recreate the book. Artists include Cockrum, Kris Anka, David Baldeon, Jen Bartel, Mark Brooks, Juann Cabal, Carmen Carnero, Joshua Cassara, Bernard Chang, Marco Checchetto, Iban Coello, Marcelo Ferreira, Javier Garron, Carols Gomez, Gurihiru, Mike Hawthorne, Aaron Kuder, Pepe Larraz, Matteo Lolli, Ema Lupacchino, Mike del Mundo, Takeshi Miyazawa, Phil Noto, Kevin Nowlan, Siya Oum, Rahzzah, Rod Reis, Javier Rodriguez, Ramon Rosanas, Alex Ross, Chris Samnee, Marguerite Sauvage, Valerio Schiti, Stephen Segovia, R.B. Silva, Marcus To, and Leinil Francis Yu.

The 200-page hardcover Gallery Edition collects Giant-Size X-Men: Tribute to Wein & Cockrum and Giant-Size X-Men #1. It retails for $44.99 and will be available on July 14, 2021.
