The Boys are getting their third and final oversized hardcover omnibus at Dynamite. The Boys: Oversized Omnibus Vol. 3 will be filled with 30 full issues, comprising The Boys #49-72, plus the third and final miniseries, Butcher, Baker, Candlestickmaker. The nearly 800-page book will contain extras and is protected in a dustjacket. It is expected to be released in July 2022.

The last chapters of The Boys reveal all the big secrets that haven’t been seen yet in the show. Mallory guides Wee Hughie through the Boys’ early history, which includes their first confrontation with the Seven. Billy Butcher’s earliest years are chronicled, and he gets close to achieving revenge, then Homelander starts the superhuman war.

“Great to see these new editions from Dynamite, I hope there’ll be many more,” writer and co-creator Garth Ennis said.

“With season three of the Amazon Prime show about to launch, people are showing a lot of interest in the original comics,” artist and co-creator Darick Robertson said. “And these omnibuses have been a great opportunity for new readers to jump in and discover the original stories that inspired the show.”

Extras in the omnibus include sketchbook excerpts from Robertson and Russ Braun, plus a pinup gallery. Original series outline with commentary by Ennis and curated scripts with commentary and art processes are also included.

Off the page, The Boys returns for the show’s third season on Prime Video in June and The Boys: Diabolical animated spinoff is now available.
