Break out the chimichangas, Deadpool 3 has its director. Shawn Levy, who directed Ryan Reynolds in the video game-set Free Guy and the Netflix sci-fi adventure The Adam Project, is helming the next Deadpool sequel.

Levy has racked up many notable credits, including the early 2000s hits Just Married and Cheaper By the Dozen. He directed all three Night at the Museum movies, directed Date Night, Real Steel, and several episodes of Stranger Things.

Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, who wrote the first two Deadpool movies, are back for the third installment. The collaborative writing team also includes Reynolds, Wendy Molyneux, and Lizzie Molyneux-Logelin, based on characters created by Rob Liefeld and Fabian Nicieza.

This will be the first Deadpool movie released since Disney acquired 20th Century Fox. There was concern that the franchise would be watered down to avoid its typical R-rating, however Disney CEO Bob Iger confirmed that it’ll stick to the style, content, and language in the first two movies.

Deadpool 3 does not have a release date, synopsis, or casting news yet.
