Maximum Zorro Offers 4 Classic & New Books on Kickstarter
Zorro is back for classic, new, and first-time-in-English adventures in multiple books that are now on Kickstarter. Alien Books has partnered with Zorro Productions, Inc. to explore Zorro’s past, present, and future.

Zorro Classic Adventures Vol. 1 Kickstarter hardcover edition is a new full color collection of material that was not previously released in the US. It is produced in a compact 6” x 9” format and is packed with over 200 pages.

Zorro Dark Age hardcover Kickstarter exclusive edition features the work of Howard Chaykin and Jorge Fornés. This version features a cover that is different from the one in stores.
A director’s cut edition is also available exclusively on Kickstarter. The black and white edition showcases the original inked form and digs deeper into pages of Chaykin’s script and Fornés’s sketches, layouts, and inks.

Zorro Annual #1 special Kickstarter foil edition tells the story of a notorious killer who escapes onto a stagecoach, putting everyone in danger. Bernardo is trapped with a ruthless gang and Zorro races through the California desert to prevent more deaths. The story of murder and mystery is by guest writer Rodolfo Santullo, artists Matías Bergara and Magenta King, and colorist Javier Tartaglia. It has a special foil card stock cover by Enrique Breccia and contains a classic backup story and behind the scenes content.

Zorro Land of Capiangos is set in 1823 when Don Diego de la Vega visits the newly independent Argentina. His trip to Buenos Aires was supposed to be for business only, but outlaws and supernatural threats get in the way. Luckily, Zorro is always ready for action in this new adventure written by Luciano Saracino with art by Emiliano Correa, Juan Pablo Massa, and Exequiel Fernández Roel. The 88-page softcover is being published in English for the first time.
Backers can get all four books (including both versions of Zorro: Dark Age) and an enamel pin set for $229. The Zorro Annual #1 special foil edition is $24, Zorro Classics Vol. 1 hardcover is $25, Zorro: Dark Age hardcover is $30, Zorro Land of Capiangos is $30, and Zorro: Dark Age director’s cut hardcover is $39. There’s a digital bundle, a retailer pack, and levels that include head sketches.
The goal was $5,000, and backers have already pledged $49,090 at press time. The Maximum Zorro campaign ends on November 21, 2026.
