Marvel announced several new comic series at New York Comic Con starring Captain Marvel, Magneto, Infernal Hulk, and several characters from the Spider-Verse.

Carol Danvers is flying again in a new Captain Marvel ongoing series written by G. Willow Wilson (Ms. Marvel) with art by Rachael Stott (Fantastic Four). It spins out of the upcoming Avengers run and will start in May 2027.

“Following the cataclysmic events of Avengers: Armageddon (2026), Carol Danvers finds herself grounded like never before. To rise again, Carol will have to challenge everything she thought she knew about being Captain Marvel – and break every rule along the way. And as she pushes herself further, a threat that has been quietly assembling in the shadows of the Marvel Universe for decades is finally ready to make its move,” per the synopsis.

During the publisher’s “Marvel Comics: The Spider-Web” panel, they revealed plans for four new Spider-Man series that are all launching in 2027. Crisis of Faith presents a crossover written by Bryan Hill (Miles Morales: Spider-Man) and Joe Kelly (Amazing Spider-Man). The story will change the relationship between Miles and Peter Parker, and it will weaken their trust in one another.

Hobie Brown is getting a Spider-Punk solo series by writer Cody Ziglar, artist Justin Mason, and cover artist Taurin Clarke. When the Spider-Band goes missing, Hobie tries to find out what happened to his friends and will confront his demons during the investigation. He will face new villain Mz. Negative who is teaming up with Scorpion. The Spider-Punk comic starts on January 20.

Marvel SFX: Thwip is a new anthology series centered around Marvel’s well known comics sound effects. The first issue features stories by Jed MacKay (Moon Knight), Stephen Graham Jones (Buffalo Hunter Hunter), and Rainbow Rowell (She-Hulk). Artists on the project include Marvel Stormbreaker Alessandro Cappuccio, Lucas Werneck (Phoenix), and others. Future issues will contain stories by Eric Zawadszi, Simone Di Meo, and others. It begins on January 27.

Spider-Man: Noir #1 sees Peter Parker investigating an underworld artifact in a story written by Alex Segura (Star Wars: The Battle of Jakku) and illustrated by Farid Karami (Avengers). A new villain is threatening to cause total darkness, and Peter tries to figure out what happened to his new girlfriend’s ex-boyfriend. If that weren’t enough, Venom is joining the Noir Universe. The book launches on February 10.

The long, complicated life of Magneto is in the spotlight in Magneto: End of Days. The eight-issue prestige series is written by Brian Michael Bendis with art by Andrea Sorrentino, and colors by Dave Stewart. It begins on February 3.

The book was announced during the “Marvel Comics: House of Ideas Panel,” and retells his story from a new perspective. It will cover the major moments from throughout Magneto’s life “creating a sweeping portrait of a character who defines the power of Marvel storytelling,” per the press release.

Marvel also revealed new details about the Hulk War: Infernal Rage event series. An ancient evil called the Eldest has transformed the Hulk into the twisted and terrifying Infernal Hulk. He is rampaging through the Marvel Universe and corrupting heroes to create his own monstrous world. His efforts culminate in the Hulk War: Infernal Rage five-issue event series by Phillip Kennedy Johnson and Nic Klein (Infernal Hulk). It starts in February.

Prior to the event, Marvel is publishing a series of Infernal Hulk Vs. one-shots that began with Infernal Hulk Vs. Wolverine #1. The five one-shots will track Infernal Hulk’s efforts to create a team of Infernal Avengers.
