Apocalypse survivors and the shambling undead are making their way to Heritage Auctions for The Walking Dead Universe Auction. Costumes, props, and set pieces from the world of AMC’s The Walking Dead TV series will be offered in time for Halloween on October 30, 2026.

The Walking Dead began in 2010, seven years after Robert Kirkman and Tony Moore created the comic book of the same name. The series starts when police officer Rick Grimes wakes from a coma to find that the world has succumbed to a zombie apocalypse. It follows a group of survivors who find that evading the Walkers isn’t the most dangerous part of their new life. It’s the fellow survivors who have become monsters without the rules of civilized society.

One of the auction’s spotlights is the Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) 11-piece costume and accessory group. It includes shirts (one with studio blood stains), jeans, a blanket, and a leather belt. It also includes accessory pouches, a nylon hatchet pouch, nylon drop leg knife sheath, a rubber Colt Python, action hatchet, and an action knife.

Another top lot is the Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus) 10-piece ensemble and hero crossbow. It contains three sleeveless shirts, pants, a stained red oil rag, and a rubber action Busse combat team Gemini knife. It also has the hero Horton Scout HD crossbow with accessories and three black carbon fiber bolts.

There’s a Walker 26-piece costume group that includes one pullover Walker mask made of foam latex and mask appliances made by practical effects/makeup artist and showrunner Greg Nicotero. It also has a dress, sleeveless coat, five pairs of pants, three t-shirts, three long-sleeved shirts, two jackets, three pairs of boots, hiking shoes, and sneakers.

The auction features a Commonwealth assortment of 46 prop and scene dressing items. It includes two black acrylic street signs, two blue and gold banners, a Commonwealth map, and 41 Commonwealth church pamphlets.

Additional lots are a Rick Grimes 55-piece costume and accessory group, and Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) group of accessories that includes his leather jacket and hero Lucille baseball bat. There’s a Michonne (Danai Gurira) 39-piece costume and accessory group, and a Carl Grimes (Chandler Riggs) 55-piece costume and character accessory group. Highlights also include a Maggie Green (Lauren Cohan) 48-piece costume and accessory group, and a Glenn Rhee (Steven Yeun) assortment of 14 character accessories.
