The Man without Fear is getting deep into his second arc of the new series, and it is chaos. A former employee of the Kingpin has one of his old ledgers and is planning to give it to the authorities. Unfortunately, every crime boss, wannabe crime boss, and supervillain in New York City has also heard about the book. And they want it. 

In this second part of the story, Fisk's associate is racing across town to deliver the book. He is being chased by gangsters and plans are in place to catch him, turning the streets of New York into a giant trap. Luckily, Daredevil is along for the ride to protect the man and play keep away with the ledger. Daredevil has an unlikely ally in the Owl… that is until Elektra shows up.   

Daredevil #7 is a fast-paced car chase with readers along for the ride. After an opening page of stillness, the rest of the book zooms by in chaotic action. Artist Flaviano and colorist Rico Renzi pack the book with energy as cars speed across the pages and light streaks around them. You can practically hear the tires screeching and smell the burning rubber, courtesy of descriptive writing by Stephanie Phillips.  

The book is also heavy on fight scenes as Daredevil knocks out thug after thug, proving why bad guys fear the Devil of Hells Kitchen. This issue had plenty of exposition and dialogue to move the story forward, but it was predominately the third act of an action movie. And it was a fun one.
