Heritage’s weekly comics and comic art auctions feature Spider-Man, Wonder Woman, and Batman in key books and art. The Comic Books Select Auction closes on Sunday through Tuesday, September 27-29, 2026, and the Comic Art & Illustration Select Auction ends on Wednesday, September 30.

The comic book auction is led by three high grade keys and CGC Census toppers. Spider-Man #1 CGC 9.8 JSA Authentic Autograph Todd McFarlane has a story, art, and cover by McFarlane. Ultimate Fallout #4 CGC 9.8 with the first appearance of Miles Morales as Spider-Man is the top certified copy of the variant cover. Fantastic Four #73 CGC 9.8 Rocky Mountain Pedigree is another Census topper.

The comic auction also features a pair of Golden and Silver Age keys featuring offbeat stories. Superman’s Girlfriend Lois Lane #70 CGC 7.5 has Catwoman’s first Silver Age appearance, and she turns Lois’ boyfriend into a black cat. World’s Finest Comics #3 CGC 4.5 with the origin and debut of Scarecrow has a cover of Batman, Robin, and Superman playing baseball.

A pair of striking splash pages lead the original art auction. Wonder Woman looks fierce on Doug Mahnke and Christian Alamy’s Justice League of America #7 splash page 24. Alex Saviuk and Joe Rubinstein give Spider-Man an armored suit on the Web of Spider-Man #100 splash page 16.

Original art highlights continue with Eliot R. Brown’s x-ray of Wolverine in original art for The Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe #15. Batman helps Kirk Langstrom on Gene Colan and Klaus Janson’s Batman #348 page 5, and the Flamingo finds a bathing beauty in Matt Baker’s Flamingo daily comic strip.
