Thor, X-Men, Dracula, Super-Villain Marvel Masterworks on Kickstarter
The Marvel Masterworks collection is growing with four new books. This first wave of books from Clover Press showcases The Uncanny X-Men, Super-Villain Team-Up, The Mighty Thor, and The Tomb of Dracula. The books are open for backing on Kickstarter.
Marvel’s archival hardcover collection began in 1987, collecting books in chronological order, restoring and packaging them in a uniform presentation. Clover Press is expanding the line of Marvel collections with four new books that match the style and size of previous editions. They are also using the same printer to mirror the quality and specifications of previous Marvel Masterworks editions.
The Uncanny X-Men Vol. 18 collects issues 256-268 and Annual #14, and material from The Fantastic Four Annual #23, X-Factor Annual #5, and The New Mutants Annual #6. A Kickstarter exclusive edition signed by Chris Claremont is available.
Super-Villain Team-Up Vol. 1 collects Super-Villain Team-Up #1-2, Super-Villain Team-Up #1-17, Marvel Spotlight #27, The Avengers #154-156, The Champions #16, and content from Marvel Preview #21. The Kickstarter exclusive edition is signed by Steve Englehart.
The Mighty Thor Vol. 25 featuring the work Walter Simonson contains Thor #360-369 and Balder the Brave #1-4. Simonson signed the Kickstarter exclusive edition.
The Tomb of Dracula Vol. 6 collects The Tomb of Dracula #56-70, showcasing the work of Marv Wolfman, Gene Colan, and Tom Palmer. Wolfman signed the Kickstarter exclusive edition.
The books are available as a regular edition, variant edition, Clover edition, and Clover with a dust jacket and slipcase (unsigned or signed). All four books in regular, variant, or Clover press editions are priced at $299.
The Mighty Thor and Tomb of Dracula regular, variant, and Clover editions are $80; and The Uncanny X-Men and the Super-Villain Team-Up regular, variant, and Clover editions are $100. Slipcase editions are $100 to $125, and signed editions are $165 to $190. There are several other options as well.
More extras are available including a mini-print set, fact files, stickers, buttons, journals, stationary set, collector’s box, puzzle, and more.
The Kickstarter campaign runs until October 16, 2026.
