Actor-writer David Dastmalchian and writer Leah Kilpatrick are doing a special limited signing at Baltimore Comic-Con. Dastmalchian will sign his graphic novel, Through, and Kilpatrick will sign books they worked on together. Baltimore Comic-Con will be held on September 25-27, 2026, at the Baltimore Convention Center.

Their signing will be on the afternoon of Saturday, September 26 at the Cards, Comics & Collectibles booth 916. Tickets include a copy of Through, a signature on the book, and Dastmalchian will sign another fan-provided item or a print provided by the convention. This is a ticketed event that will be held in two groups; ticketholders will receive a number designating their signing group.

Dastmalchian is a popular genre actor who appears in everything from family-friendly shows to horror films. His first notable role was in The Dark Knight as one of Joker’s thugs. He played Kurt in the Ant-Man movies, did two episodes of Gotham, and was in Blade Runner 2049. Dastmalchian was in Bird Box, played Abra Kadabra in The Flash, and voiced Calendar Man in Batman: the Long Halloween animated features. He played Polka-Dot Man in The Suicide Squad, Piter de Vries in Dune: Part One, starred in Late Night with the Devil, and The Last Voyage of the Demeter. He’s also been in Murderbot, played Mr. 3 in One Piece, voiced the Riddler in Batman: Knightfall, and he plays M. Bison in the upcoming Street Fighter movie.

His work in comics includes creating and writing Count Crowley about a TV horror host who learns that the monsters on-screen are real. He co-wrote the annual Headless Horsemen anthology, Kingdom of Earth with Kilpatrick, he created the Knights vs. Samurai series, and did a Creature Commandos series. The Accessories was recently published, and he is working on Venom for Marvel, Kolchak Meets Count Crowley for Monstrous Book, and M. Bison for Legendary.

Kilpatrick is a writer, actor, and creature-maker who has worked in comics, film, and television. She collaborated with Dastmalchian on Kingdom of Earth about surviving in an apocalyptic world, and The Accessories about forgotten figures connected to iconic horror monsters. She also worked on DC Horror Presents and the Headless Horseman Halloween Annual. Kilpatrick’s onscreen and behind the scenes work includes acting, practical creature performance, and SFX/makeup. She worked on The Boulet Brothers’ Holiday of Horrors, is in an upcoming found footage horror film, and she is developing projects as Executive Creative Director of Good Fiend Films.
