The Valiant Comics Supercharged Kickstarter campaign compiles a selection of Valiant stories and art books that showcase the publisher’s impact from the 1990s to now. The campaign includes The Art of Valiant Comics, Valiant’s Best: Joe Quesada, The Road to Resurgence, and Street Fighter vs. the Valiant Universe Raw Edition.

The Art of Valiant Comics is the first art book focused on Valiant, celebrating the publisher’s visual style. It contains 100 covers, rare behind the scenes material, finished art, original black and white pages, character designs, sketches, and creator insights. The interior art, covers, and rare material goes back to the early works in 1989 up to the modern entries. It is a 200-page hardcover.

Valiant’s Best: Joe Quesada honors the impact that the writer, artist, and editor had on Valiant books. His work on X-O Manowar #0, Ninjak #1-3, and Bloodshot #0 interiors and covers are collected for the first time in this deluxe hardcover. It highlights his “dynamic storytelling, cinematic action, and distinctive visual style to the Valiant Universe,” per the description.

The Road to Resurgence is a nearly 500-page graphic novel that collects Faith Returns #1-2, Punk Mambo: The Punk Witch Project, The Darques: Soulside #1-2, Rai: The Book of the Darque #1-2, Ninjak vs. Roku #1-4, Archer & Armstrong: Assassin Nation #1-2, and Eternal Warriors: Last Ride of the Immortals #1-2, plus “Phantom Passions!,” “Trust Fall!,” and “The Many Loves of Ninjak!” from A Very Valiantine’s Special.

The book contains stories by Fred Van Lente, Jody Houser, A.J. Ampadu, Peter Milligan, and Dan Abnett; art by Diego Giribaldi, Sergio Monjes, Andres Ponce, Emiliano Correa, Alvaro Papagiani, Emilio Utrera, and Aleta Vidal. The hardcover collection comes with a cover by Agustin Alessio.

Street Fighter vs the Valiant Universe Raw Edition presents the crossover one-shot with the original black and white art and different covers than the ones offered in stores. The book establishes how Bloodshot and Cammy both have dark pasts in which they were used as living weapons. Now that they are free of that control, they will meet during a raid in a Shadaloo outpost in the heart of Africa. The book is written by Tim Seeley and Timmy Heague, with art by Alfredo Cardona, Pablo Rey, and Javier Tartaglia, and a cover by Cardona.

Valiant fans have multiple pledge level options, starting with Street Fighter vs the Valiant Universe Raw Edition for $20, Valiant’s Best: Joe Quesada for $30, and The Art of Valiant for $40. The two art books can be purchased for $65, the large Valiant’s Road to Resurgence is $75, the two art books and Streetfighter vs. Valiant crossover is $90, and all four books are available for $160. There are several other options and add-ons as well.

The Kickstarter campaign was closing in on $50,000 at press time, far surpassing the $5,000 goal. The campaign ends on August 25, 2026.
