The connection between mutants and magic will produce a new threat in X-Orcists. Illyana Rasputin is up against a demonic invasion and will need help from friends and foes to stop a returning X-Men villain who wants to pull apart mutant magic. The five-issue series is written by Ashley Allen and drawn by Germán Peralta, the team behind the 2025 Magik series and recent Magik & Colossus.

A demon has escaped Limbo, a realm Magik used to rule, to wreak havoc on humans and mutants. She finds assistance from fellow X-Man Juggernaut and rival sorcerer Madelyne Pryor, aka the Queen of Limbo. The powerful demon proves more dangerous than they imagined, and the group will need even more help to stop chaos.

“Round three, baby!” Allen said. “In all seriousness, I’m incredibly grateful to continue this journey with Germán and the rest of the Magik team, telling the story of a character so close to my and fans’ hearts. Magik and Madelyne are both women who have been told what their paths should be, only to choose their own destinies. Exploring this has been such a powerful and rewarding experience and I’m excited for fans to see these two characters reclaim their power, evolve from their pasts, and discover what it means to truly wield themselves.”
