MyComicShop will soon list two important Golden Age keys for sale on their website. Captain America Comics #1 CGC 3.5 with the first appearances of Cap, Bucky, and Red Skull, and Detective Comics #38 CGC 5.0 featuring the debut of Robin the Boy Wonder will soon be listed for sale alongside other Golden Age finds.

They are still several weeks away from their October Prime Auction, but it’s already filling up with some notable original art pieces. First up is a piece of Marvel Comics history with Larry Hama’s original concept art for The Beyonder, both in his civilian attire and in an unadopted suit of battle armor. The pieces include a letter of provenance from Hama explaining that he, Mike Zeck, Bob Layton, John Byrne, and John Romita Jr. all contributed various designs to the project that would go on to be an iconic Marvel story.

The auction will also feature a commission of the Fantastic Four by Byrne, known in large part for his defining run on Marvel’s First Family.

In addition to their regular weekly auctions, MyComicShop has also begun hosting streaming auctions every Friday evening at 6 PM CT on eBay Live. They are featuring each week’s hot new releases alongside a mix of books from the Golden Age to today.

They will be at Baltimore Comic-Con in Baltimore, Maryland on September 25-27, buying comics and accepting consignments at their booth and pick up material in the surrounding areas and on their journey to Texas. At OAFCon in Norman, Oklahoma on October 23-25, MyComicShop will buy books and accept consignments.
