Bad Idea is heading to San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) with a panel discussing their titles, giveaways, including a signed copy of Warbird #0, and a tiki party.

The Bad Idea panel will celebrate the launch of Warbird on Friday, July 24 at 5 PM in room 32AB. Writers Derek Kolstad (screenwriter, John Wick) and Robert Venditti (Superman ’78), and artist Tomás Giorello (Conan the Barbarian) will appear at the panel with Bad Idea’s team of Dinesh Shamdasani, Peter Stern, Benjamin Simpson, and Siena Fallon. In addition to discussing Warbird, they will provide an exclusive look at Bad Idea releases like Lancer, It Demands Sacrifice, The Detective, and others.

Attendees will receive a special edition of Warbird #0 signed by Kolstad and Venditti, and a second panel giveaway will be announced at a later date. Panel attendees can qualify for the giveaway by following the ENIAC campaign by writer Matt Kindt and artist Doug Braithwaite.

Bad Idea’s celebrations will continue with their SDCC Tiki Party at Bali Hai on Saturday, July 25 from 7 PM to 10 PM. The event will have food, drinks, and conversation with Bad Idea creators and staff. This is an invitation only party, so fans that would like to attend need to RSVP to rsvp@badideacorp.com, then show the Bad Idea First Customer Pin at the door. The Bali Hai is located at 2230 Shelter Island Drive in San Diego.

Warbird #1 features art by Alex Maleev (Daredevil) and Esad Ribić (Secret Wars), colors by Dean White (Conan the Barbarian), and designs by Frank Quitely (All-Star Superman). The first issue comes with covers by Quitely, Michael Cho, J.G. Jones, and others. It will arrive in stores on August 26.
