The auction has added Avengers #7 with Jack Kirby’s classic cover to go along with other great moments from his work, including the introduction of Ego the Living Planet in Thor #132, the High Evolutionary’s debut in Thor #134, the Silver Surfer battling Galactus in Fantastic Four #50, Black Widow’s first villainous return in Tales of Suspense #53, and a parade of first appearances in New Gods #1.

Black Magic #11 featuring a cover by Jack Kirby and Joe Simon is offered alongside other Golden Age finds like Jumbo Comics #131 and Ideal Comics #1, a scarce Fight Comics #19, and the rare Smash Comics #60.

The Banshee’s start in X-Men #28 joins fabulous firsts like Beast Boy and other emerging Legionnaires in Adventure Comics #324, Power Girl soars into the DC Universe in All-Star Comics #58, and Beta Ray Bill bounds into Thor #337. There are additional Bronze Age beauties like Kitty Pryde and Emma Frost’s debut in X-Men #129 while a new teen hero storms in with Firestorm #1.

Top Modern Age examples include CGC Signature copies of Jim Lee’s art beginning in Superman #204 and Rob Liefeld’s rare Avengers variant for Mighty Thor #703, plus Archie Comics ushering in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Adventures #1, the Red Hulk smashing into 2008’s Hulk #1, Damian Wayne debuting in Batman #655, the Court of Owls emerging in 2012’s Batman #6, and Spawn #6.
