Metropolis/ComicConnect Summer & Fall Con Schedule
Metropolis/ComicConnect will be on the road over the coming months, with ComicConnect President Vince Zurzolo and top staffers selling and displaying vintage comics and original art at conventions. They’ll also be meeting with consignors to discuss third party-certified comics, original comic art, and more.
They will be heading to San Diego Comic-Con on July 22-26, 2026, and will be located at booth 5516 in the San Diego Convention Center. Then they’re off to TerrifiCon on August 7-9 at the Mohegan Sun Expo Center in Uncasville, CT. Next up will be the Comic Art Con on August 30 at the Holiday Inn in Hasbrouck Heights, NJ. In the fall, they are headed to Baltimore Comic Con on September 25-27 and will be at booth 912 in the Baltimore Convention Center. After that, they’ll attend New York Comic Con on October 8-11, and be set up at booth 3535 in the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center.
In 2026, Metropolis/ComicConnect began the year with the private sale of an Action Comics #1 CGC 9.0 for a record $15 million, followed by record-breaking sales in their “Death of Superman” Original Art Auction. Metropolis/ComicConnect recently sold Action Comics #1 CGC 7.0 for $5 million in a direct sale from their website.
Metropolis/ComicConnect will be at conventions with checkbooks in hand as staffers seek out vintage comics, original art, and more from top collectors. Clients can use consignments as payments toward purchases for the upcoming Event Auction 67 and other major sales.
ComicConnect staffers can meet with sellers outside of the convention areas. Original art consignors can contact Micah Spivak at micahs@metropoliscomics.com; sellers can also contact Peter Barbella at peterb@metropoliscomics.com, or call (212) 260-4147 and toll free at (888) 779-7377.
