The Doctor Who: Circuit Breaker multimedia event will follow the Fugitive Doctor in a story told across audio dramas, novels, comics, and mobile games. It starts when UNIT’s Black Archive takes in corrupted alien artifacts that are threatening to destroy all of reality.

Titan Comics will publish two comics and a graphic novel as a part of the story. The first issue launches the multimedia story on July 8, 2026, sending the Doctor across time and space for her first encounter with the Daleks.

Titan has revealed for the cover art for Doctor Who: Circuit Breaker – Adversary of the Daleks #1 featuring art by Jay Anacleto, Robert Sienicki, and Flops, a photo cover of Jo Martin, who plays the Fugitive Doctor, and variants.

Adversary of the Daleks is written by Dan Watters and Dulce M. Montoya with art by Sami Kivelä.

“In Adversary of the Daleks, the Doctor arrives in Thessaloniki in ancient Greece where she discovers that even the gods fear strange visitors from across the universe,” per the synopsis. “While in Dawn of the Daleks, the Doctor travels to the war-ravaged world of Skaro as the Doctor battles the Daleks with the fate of their Kaled forebears at stake!”
