The GraphFix Con is an original art show that creator Zaddick Longenbach says unites collectors and aficionados of comic and illustration original art, with creators, dealers, and the top auction houses. The latest edition of his show was held Sunday, May 17, 2026, at the Midtown Hilton located in Manhattan NY.

Longenbach is known as an American fencer who competed at the 1992 Summer Olympics and also at the 1995 and 1999 Pan American Games. He is also a fan of collecting comic art, illustration, and other forms of narrative art, sometimes saving up for six months to buy a new page. By 2006, he was a member of CAF. Now Longenbach has taken his love of comic book art to a new level with his GraphFix Con.

The dealer list included top comic art sellers from across the country including Will Gabri-El, Albert Moy, Bechara Maalouf, My Original, Brad Savage, Anthony Snyder, Steve and Rich Donnelly, and more. The auction houses ComicLink and ComicConnect were sponsors of the show as was Heritage Auctions and there was an agent available for those who wanted to submit books for CGC Signature Series signings during the show.

There was a nice group of special guests like Mutts creator Patrick McDonnell, Ray Lago, Fred Harper, Chrissie Zullo, Chris Uminga, Brandon Kenney, John Mungiello, Matt Lesniewski, Sozomaika, Enrique “QUIQUE,” and Maria “Marimar” Lopez.

We got there very early when dealers were still setting up and saw that collectors were already shopping before vendors were finished putting their displays together. There were almost 35 tables with a wide variety of original comic art. It was much more than what one would find at a traditional comic convention and no one was selling comic books. Dealer Anthony Snyder had a significant wall display and tables filled with items for sale. His booth is never one that a buyer could go through in a few minutes. The same is true for Bechara Maalouf who also had a significant display of wall art and portfolios to explore.

I was happy to see my buddy Brad Savage and his wife set up at the show. Brad had some incredible art pages for sale but the highlight had to be his Fantastic Four #17 Jack Kirby/Dick Ayers page which had Reed Richards, The Thing, and Doctor Doom on it. However, what makes this page so special is it has President John F. Kennedy sitting in a rocking chair talking to his staff and Jackie Kennedy appears in silhouette. It really is an amazing piece. Stopping at the My Original table, I discovered that it was run by a pair who came from France several years ago to become comic art dealers in the US. It was very cool to discuss the differences between French and American collectors. Bechara Maalouf had an amazing Superman Sunday comic strip page that I just could not take my eyes off of, and he had multiple large Peanuts pieces.

There was a nice selection of Batman related art which made me happy, and I found a really nice Carmine Infantino/John Nyberg newspaper daily that I was excited to get. Allie found a beautiful Jose Delbo/Vince Colletta Wonder Woman page that she could not say no to buying.

As we left for the day both Allie and I agreed that we will be back for the 2027 edition of the show.

GraphFix Con is held in the heart of Manhattan at the Midtown Hilton at 1335 6th Avenue, New York, New York. There is a vast number of restaurants nearby and the city’s mass transit system, its yellow cabs, and ride share options getting around is easy.

The show hours were from 10 AM to 5 PM with early bird admission at 9 AM. The show will return in April 2027 with an exact date to be announced.
