An early Batman issue with a Dick Sprang cover, Barry Windsor-Smith and Alex Bialy original art, and a high grade copy of an early Harry Potter game are among the featured lots in Heritage’s weekly auctions.

The Comic Books Select Auction closes on Sunday through Tuesday, May 17-19, 2026, the Video Games Mini-Boss Auction concludes on Tuesday, May 19, and the Comic Art & Animation Auction wraps up on Wednesday, May 20.

A pair of important covers are presented in the comics auction. First up, is Batman #20 CGC 4.0 featuring the Batmobile’s first cover appearance, rendered by Dick Sprang. X-Men #136 CGC 9.8 presents the famous cover of Cyclops holding Jean Grey’s incapacitated body from the penultimate issue of The Dark Phoenix Saga.

The comic art auction is led by Mike Choi’s X-Force #26 story page 9 showing Nightcrawler – just pages away from his death – teleporting Rogue and Hope Summers across the US to escape Bastion. A battle between the WildC.A.T.S. and Stormwatch unfold on Barry Windsor-Smith and Alex Bialy’s WildStorm Rising #1 story page 9, which was the only Image comic to feature Windsor-Smith’s art.

Heritage’s video game auction is led by high grade copies from two classic fantasy franchises. Golden Axe PSA 9.8 sealed for Sega Genesis is the highest graded copy of the game that brought the arcade beat’em up game to home consoles. The Japanese version of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone CGC 9.8 sealed for PlayStation is being offered by Heritage for the first time.
