The Hero Initiative is a charitable organization that raises money for comics industry professionals in medical and financial need. They sell a wide variety of comic-related collectibles on eBay, including original comic art pages, sketches, signed books, and limited edition books.

Some of their current featured lots are Jeffrey Moy’s XS from Legion of Super-Heroes on Hero sketchcard, Philip Moy’s Buttercup from the Powerpuff Girls on Hero drink coaster, JLA/Avengers trade paperback (2022) Hero limited edition, and Howard Chaykin’s The Shadow on Hero sketchcard. They have multiple pages of Chaykin’s original art like Rawhide Kid: Sensation Seven #4 page 3 and page 8, Too Dead to Die Part 1 page 7, Hey Kids, Comics Vol. 2 #5 page 5, and Satellite Sam #6 page 16.

Hero is selling many books signed by Mark Waid from single issues to collections like Doctor Strange Remittance graphic novel, Superman Action Comics: Phantoms graphic novel, and Superman Last Days of Lex Luthor #3, among others. They are also selling The Superman 100 Project, Symbiote Spider-Man 2099 Hero exclusive Todd Nauck variant, Murder Inc. Vol. 2: Versus America signed by Michael Avon Oeming, The Walking Dead 100 Project, The Uncanny X-Men 100 Project, and more.
