ComicConnect Heads to Lake Como Comic Art Festival
ComicConnect representatives are heading to Italy’s Lake Como Comic Art Festival on April 24-26, 2026. Fresh off their record-setting “Death of Superman” Original Art Auction, Vincent Zurzolo and top staffers will preview the original comic art heading to auction.
ComicConnect will be in booth L10-7 with works from both early and modern masters, including Dick Giordano’s cover for Green Lantern #128 and Joe Kubert’s cover spread for Sojourn #2 alongside an Arthur Adams page from Longshot #4 and a Dan Jurgens interior art from Superman #98.
They’ll showcase Jack Kirby’s mastery from the late 1960s with a page from Thor #161, plus Herb Trimpe’s Dr. Doom battle splash from Marvel Two-in-One #9 paired with his cover for Incredible Hulk #175.
There’s also uncanny X-Men art from John Romita, Jr. joined by David Finch’s double-page spread from Batman: The Dark Knight #1, as well as John Buscema and Ron Lim each merging the Marvel and DC Universes, plus pieces by Sal Buscema, Matt Wagner, George Pérez, Paul Smith, and more.
ComicConnect is taking consignments for Event Auction 66 through May 18. Original art consignors can reach out to Micah Spivak at micahs@metropoliscomics.com; sellers can also contact Peter Barbella at peterb@metropoliscomics.com, or call (212) 260-4147 and toll free at (888) 779-7377.
