Liam Sharp’s StarHenge Returns in New Sci-Fi/Fantasy Tale
The heroes of StarHenge are trapped in a psychedelic adventure in the second book by writer and illustrator Liam Sharp. StarHenge Book Two: A Kiss for Atticus will continue to mix science fiction and fantasy in the new four-issue miniseries published by Image Comics. The new series begins in July 2026.
StarHenge Book 1: The Dragon and the Boar reimagined the legends of King Arthur. A future Merlin travels back to the 5th century to prevent a war across time that involves killer robots and a woman in the present who gets drawn into the fight.
In Book 2, Amber, Daryl, and Merlin don’t really remember who they are or how they came to be stranded in oddly familiar realms. Now, they must try to find each other and figure out why they are stuck in this surreal situation.

“StarHenge has always been more than just a time-and-realm-hopping fantasy series,” Sharp said. “It’s about creativity, the medium of comics, and telling stories. But it’s also about finding our way when we feel lost.”
The first issue features covers A and B by Sharp, a 1:10 incentive cover C by Mike Perkins, cover D by Ben Stone, and cover E by Matylda McCormack-Sharp. Barry Kitson and Tony Parker will also provide variant covers for the series.
StarHenge Book Two: A Kiss for Atticus #1 will be in comic shops on July 1.
