ComicConnect Auction Schedule Springs Toward Summer
ComicConnect’s “Death of Superman” Special Edition Art Auction is running now, the Summer Mega Monthly Auction begins May, and Event Auction 66 starts June 1.
Metropolis/ComicConnect began 2026 with a bang, including a $15 million sale of Action Comics #1. ComicConnect’s Event Auction 65 had a Detective Comics #1 8.5 that set a new sales record at $638,250, joined by a new sales record for Action Comics #10 at $431,250.
ComicConnect’s “Death of Superman” Special Edition Art Auction is continuing to run through Sunday, April 12, offering the near-complete art by Dan Jurgens that appeared in Superman #75. That issue became a defining moment in DC’s groundbreaking “Death of Superman” event. Several of these Superman #75 pages have quickly passed the $200,000 mark, with the classic comic’s cover already past $400,000.
ComicConnect will then head into the Summer Mega Monthly Auction starting on Monday, May 4, featuring a selection of keys from across the comic ages. The auction will be open for bidding until May 19-21.
Event Auction 66 begins on Monday, June 1 that already includes rare vintage comics and original art. All consignments to be considered for the Event Auction 66 catalog must be presented by Monday, April 27, while the final deadline for consignments is Monday, May 18. Event Auction 66 closes on June 22-26.
ComicConnect is always seeking out vintage comics, original art, and more. Clients who put consignments toward payments are offered what they describe as “competitive commission rates” and interest free cash advances. Original art consignors can reach out to Micah Spivak at micahs@metropoliscomics.com; and sellers can also contact Peter Barbella at peterb@metropoliscomics.com, or call (212) 260-4147 and toll free at (888) 779-7377.
